KPIs achieved 2009/2010

Antur Business

• We helped 126 new businesses to start, creating 180 jobs. These new businesses varied from self employed individuals through to enterprises employing staff.
• We supported 47 businesses with a range of specialist advice and support. This support covered business plans and refinancing, marketing, training etc.
• Antur Business won the contract to deliver the Regional Centre service for Mid Wales on behalf of the Welsh Government. In the first 6 months of this contract we provided information and signposting to 679 businesses, 1-2-1 advice and support to 259 businesses, equality & diversity advice to 34 businesses and environmental management advice to 56 businesses.
• We delivered services in conjunction with the Wales Co-op centre to support social enterprises with their development projects.

Trac

• We supported 1,175 customers with job search advice and coaching within Carmarthenshire with 18% of these people securing a job.
• In Mid & West Wales via the Progress2Work programme, Trac supported 170 individuals with significant employment barriers as follows:
  • 30 P2W job entries
  • 34 P2W further education entries
  • 81 mainstream/specialist starts
  • 70 mainstream/specialist completers
• Between January & March 2010 Trac delivered Modular jobsearch workshops to 285 individuals through the Carmarthenshire Resource Centres.
• Trac supported 35 eligible individuals (18 - 24 years old) into work placements through the Community Task Force programme.
