CARMARTHENSHIRE BUSINESS AWARDS 2008
The Carmarthenshire Business Awards took place at The Stradey Park Hotel, Llanelli, on Wednesday, 19th March 2008.
The awards, organised by local enterprise agency Antur Teifi, in association with Carmarthenshire County Council, attracted in the region of 300 local business people to the glittering event. The evening was hosted by BBC Sports presenter Jason Mohammad who stated "There is a level of entrepreneurship in Carmarthenshire like no other. The business structure is changing with the times, which means productivity is thriving, as all the winners and nominees demonstrate."
The winners from each category received recognition for their continued hard work and commitment to ensuring the success of their businesses and also helping to develop the local economy. Each winner received a Royal Welsh Crystal trophy and framed certificate. The category winners were:
