Your questions answered

What is a snapshot?

The Snapshot is a series of question about your business, which you can answer online. It is a self-evaluation tool – the questions will ask you to score yourself on how effective your business is in key areas that are important for all businesses.

Based on your scores, the snapshot will give you an overall score and some suggestions on what you might want to do next.

It is a tool that can lead to positive action – to help you make the most of your business.

Who should use it?

It’s free and accessible to anybody who wants to use it. It is particularly useful if you one or manage a business. It will also be useful if  you just started or are thinking of starting a business, as it will help you identify the skills and knowledge your business will need in order to maximise its potential.

The information you input is your information – your assessment of how the business is performing now and what it could achieve in the future. So be honest with yourself to get the most out of it.

Why take the free snapshot?

Business owners and managers who take time out to review their business performance say it helps them work more effectively by focusing on the priorities. It helps them understand how to maximise the potential from future growth, or just helps them reconnect with their original drive and vision for the business

What areas does the snapshot cover?

The Snapshot has the following sections, enabling you to evaluate the effectiveness of your business:

  • General business information
  • Business Planning
  • Your target market(s)
  • Technology within your business
  • Financial management
  • Sales and Marketing

The snapshot is a self analysis tool to help you understand your business’ strengths and areas for development.

What information will I need to complete it?

It would be useful for you to have information about:

  • Your business turnover last year
  • Projected turnover for the coming years
  • Number of employees
  • Your marketing plan
  • Your plans for the coming year

How long will it take?

This depends on how much effort you want to put into it. The more information you put in, the more useful the document will be for you. It should take between 15 and 30 minutes to complete.

What happens afterwards?

You can print out your snapshot and review it or keep it for future reference. We can send you a pdf version of it too – there is a button at the end to request that.

We would recommend that you spend some time planning the actions you need to take.

You can also contact Antur Teifi, and we’d be delighted to talk to you about the support we can provide to help you to plan and develop your business.

What will you do with the information?

Antur Teifi has a Data Protection policy that is actively managed.

Confidentiality is of utmost importance to us. We will not share any information gathered through the snapshot with third parties.

Any information gathered from completed snapshots and used by Antur Teifi for analysis and reporting of business trends will be anonymised and amalgamated and used in a way that cannot be attributable to any individual or business.
