2 Digital & Ecommerce apprentices
Antur Teifi has an exciting career opportunity for 2 Digital & Ecommerce apprentices who will report to the Business Development Manager.
The role will be to inform and support Town Councils, Chambers of Commerce, Business Groups and SMEs as they implement or develop eCommerce, and to support the Carmarthenshire Town Wi Fi Project. The apprentices will also be responsible for follow up visits and contacts to ensure that towns exploit the data coming out of the Town Wi Fi scheme, assist in creating marketing initiatives and helping businesses adopt eCommerce solutions to maintain their competitive advantage.
Throughout your 24 month development programme you would be working towards an Apprenticeship in IT, the apprenticeship would consist of two separate qualifications.:-
1. NVQ Level 3 or 4 qualification in Professional competence for IT and Telecoms Professionals (QCF).
2. BTEC Level 3 Sub Diploma in IT in which you would be expected to attend college at Graig Campus Llanelli one day a week on day release during term time.
Although if you already obtain a Level 3 Technical Certificate qualification you may be considered for a Level 4 apprenticeship and study towards a higher National Certificate (HNC) in Applied I.T which will be delivered at Coleg Sir Gar, Graig Campus in Llanelli.

This position will give you the opportunity to develop the necessary skills and experience you’ll need to develop a successful, long-term career within the I.T & Technology business sector.

Whilst being employed on the apprenticeship programme, you will gain experience of working with people from all over the organisation, whilst getting to grips with a huge variety of systems and different technologies. Furthermore, you will benefit from comprehensive mentorship and training, also there could well be opportunities for a full time I.T support position at the end of your period of training.
